Stepney Road Studios is located in Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle’s creative heartland.

Consisting of two spaces situated within landmark Uptin House on Stepney Road. Ouseburn studio is a 50sqm daylight / blackout studio for the creative photographer while the Tower studio is a flexible blank space to suit any creative need; from art installations, to yoga classes, to rehearsals, to exhibitions. Both studios enjoy high ceilings and are flooded with natural light. Hire from as little as one hour to a weekend and beyond.

Only a 10 minute taxi journey from Newcastle Central train station and a 10 minute walk from Manors Metro.

OUSEBURN STUDIO

Ouseburn Studio is a daylight / blackout studio for the creative photographer. With a ceiling height of 4.5m and over 50sqm of floor space, the studio is flooded with light from two 3m x 2.5m west facing windows. For ultimate lighting flexibility, the windows can be blacked out for full lighting control.

THE TOWER

Empty room with large windows and wooden floor

Our blank space for short or longer term hire to create, motivate and be seen. This 42sqm space enjoys 4.5m high ceilings, two west facing 3m high windows and solid wood floor. The Tower studio is the perfect blank space for photography, film, art installations, exhibitions, rehearsals, classes, pop-ups, workshops and more.

Available to hire by the hour, day and weekend.

£15 per hour
£45 half day (four hours)
£90 full day (eight hours)
£220 weekend (Friday 12pm - Monday 12pm)
